The jaws are set at a slight angle so as to allow maneuverability while still maintaining pressure and control when clamping the intended area. The most unique feature of these forceps is that each jaw features a half circle projection outwards which when the jaw is brought together forms a complete circular opening as well as the fact that the entire instrument is formed in a crescent type shape.
