Cooley Pediatric Clamp delicate clamp, jaws calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals, 5-1/2" (14.0 cm) Cooley Pediatric Clamp is ideally suited for clamping in cardiothoracic surgical procedures with pediatric patients. This clamp features jaws that are calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals but are still delicate enough for use in pediatric surgeries. This instrument is designed to keep a firm hold on the vessels that are being occluded but delicate enough not to bruise or tear the vessels thus reducing the amount of damage done to the patient. This clamp is available in a number of different styles that include straight or angled shanks and straight, satinsky, angled, or spoon-shaped jaws making this instrument highly versatile and useful in the operating room.

This instrument is designed with ring handles for ease in maneuvering and opening and closing and also a ratcheting mechanism to hold the forceps at a particular tightness. The most unique feature of these forceps is that each jaw features a half circle projection outwards which when the jaw is brought together forms a complete circular opening as well as the fact that the entire instrument is formed in a crescent type shape. This instrument is available with a number of different diameters to the opening in the jaws in 2 fr. Increments from 24 – 40 fr.

Specifically this clamp is designed for use in surgical procedures to repair a patent ductus. The jaws of this clamp are calibrated at 5 mm intervals and are designed for a firm surgical grip upon the vessels but is delicate enough to prevent any bruising or tears to the vessels walls themselves. This instrument is available with either straight or angular shanks making it possible to select the best fit possible for the procedure at hand.

Beck Vascular Clamp cooley jaws calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals, straight shanks, 6" (15.0 cm) Beck Vascular Clamp is suited for optimal use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This clamp is designed to clamp vessels and occlude blood flow during surgical procedures in many cases to prevent an excessive amount of blood loss from the patient. A unique feature of this clamp is the curved Cooley jaws that are calibrated at 50 mm intervals as well as the straight shanks. This instrument is available two sizes: small jaw with heavy curvature and large jaw with medium curvature.
