Cooley Pediatric Clamp delicate clamp, jaws calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals, 5-1/2" (14.0 cm) Cooley Pediatric Clamp is ideally suited for clamping in cardiothoracic surgical procedures with pediatric patients. This clamp features jaws that are calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals but are still delicate enough for use in pediatric surgeries. This instrument is designed to keep a firm hold on the vessels that are being occluded but delicate enough not to bruise or tear the vessels thus reducing the amount of damage done to the patient. This clamp is available in a number of different styles that include straight or angled shanks and straight, satinsky, angled, or spoon-shaped jaws making this instrument highly versatile and useful in the operating room.

Although this instrument could have a wide application on other vessels it is designed for use in clamping of the aorta. This instrument features jaws that are calibrated at 5 mm intervals making them ideally suited to give accurate measurement information during a surgical procedures. Additionally, this clamp features a slightly looped, u-shaped clamp to provide optimal gripping capacity but also maintaining that hold consistently throughout the procedure.
