Cooley Renal Artery Clamp Cooley Renal Artery clamp is ideally suited for use in cardiothoracic surgeries. The slightly curved shanks and angled jaws make this clamp perfect for its ideal use which is as a renal clamp to fully or partially cause occlusion of the renal vessels. These jaws are atraumatic thus reducing injury and stress to the vessel walls while still remaining firmly in their affixed location. This instrument is available in three sizes: 7.25", 7.5" and 10.75" to accommodate a number of different surgical approaches and surgeon preferences.

Cooley Caval Occlusion Forceps 8-1/4" (21.0 cm) Cooley Caval Occlusion Forceps are specially designed vascular clamps for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is designed with ring handles for ease in maneuvering and opening and closing and also a ratcheting mechanism to hold the forceps at a particular tightness. The most unique feature of these forceps is that each jaw features a half circle projection outwards which when the jaw is brought together forms a complete circular opening as well as the fact that the entire instrument is formed in a crescent type shape. This instrument is available with a number of different diameters to the opening in the jaws in 2 fr. Increments from 24 – 40 fr.

The unique "S" shaped curvature of the jaws makes it contoured to fit the unique curvature and shapes necessary of atraumatic clamping of vessels. Although this instrument could have a wide application on other vessels it is designed for use in clamping of the aorta. This instrument is comprised of premium German operating-room grade stainless steel.

Cooley Neonatal Clamp 5" (12.5 cm) Cooley Neonatal Clamp is the ideal tool for use in surgical procedures for newborn children. This clamp is build sturdily but made small enough to clamp the delicate vessels of a newborn child. This instrument is particularly well suited due to its ability to maintain a hold on the vessel without causing tears or rip on the delicate vessel walls of the newborn. Additionally, this clamp is available in a straight profile, spoon jawed, anastomosis clamp, carotid clamp or angled shank and straight jaws or curved shanks and angled jaws.
