Rib Spreader aluminum Casataneda Rib Spreader is a uniquely designed cardiothoracic instrument ideal for use in pediatric patients. This aluminum spreader has two arms which seamlessly transition into the attached blade structures. The arm and blade design on this instrument give the blades more length than traditionally thus transferring the pressure over a larger surface area and causing less deformity in smaller patients delicate structures. This instrument is available in three sizes: newborn, infant and child.

Atrial Valve Retractor Cooley Atrial Valve Retractor is a uniquely designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is used particularly for atrial valve retraction and is perfectly suited to do so because of its bulb shaped handle for firm handling and angled head piece to allow manipulation while leaving the surgical field accessible. This instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large all of which are for a right sided approach. A left sided approach instrument is also available to accommodate a variety of surgical uses.

The titanium also makes this item non-magnetic.
