This rib spreaders come equipped with two curved arms as well as two pairs of detachable blades each of which is fenestrated to allow a dispersal of pressure over a larger surface area reducing deformation and is available in three spread sizes: 8", 10" and 12".

This instrument is used particularly for atrial valve retraction and is perfectly suited to do so because of its bulb shaped handle for firm handling and angled head piece to allow manipulation while leaving the surgical field accessible. This instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large all of which are for a right sided approach. A left sided approach instrument is also available to accommodate a variety of surgical uses.
