The forceps are designed to clasp the hemorrhoids with a scissor mechanism and ring-size handles for control and accuracy. The shank is angled for easier navigation into the rectum.

Ives-Fansler Anoscope w/ plastic obturator, 1" diameter, 3-3/8" (8.5 cm) Ives-Fansler Anoscope features a plastic obturator that is inserted into the anus for guidance of the outer hollow tube into the anus. A light can be shown through this tube for clearer viewing. A perpendicular handle makes the instrument more convenient to operate. The speculum is designed to examine the anal canal.
