straight, 8" (20.0 cm)Stille Osteotome is crafted for use in neurosurgical procedures that require cutting or chiseling through bones. This osteotome features a chisel tip that can be used to scrape or sculpt bone. Additionally on the opposite end of the chisel affixed to the handle is a wide blunt end that can be hammered on to drive the chisel into bone. This instrument is available in eleven different widths ranging from 4.0 mm to 25.0 mm making it well suited for use in wide ranging procedures that require small modifications to skull bone or cuts through entire vertebrae.

8-1/2" (22.0 cm) McCulloch Osteotome is an instrument very similar to a bone chisel. This osteotome can be used in many different neurosurgical and orthopedic type surgical interventions that require manipulation of bone. It features a slim handle and a further flattened body that ends in a chisel type point that allows for scooping or scraping of the bone for a variety of reasons including increasing access and visualization to the surgical field. Additionally this osteotome is available in either 4.0 mm width or 6.0 mm width making it suitable for a vast array of surgical procedures.

9" (23.0 cm) Swan Neck Gouge is an instrument designed for gouging or removing particular sections of bone. Additionally it can also be used as a chisel with increased force applied to it to split bone or to scoop out segments to increase access to the center. A unique feature of this particular gouge is the swan shaped curvature that allows it to access difficult to reach areas without obscuring the surgical field and keeping the handle out the plane of surgery.

This osteotome features a smooth barrel shaped handle that is easy to grip. Additionally it features a wide, flat handle end that can be struck with a hammer or mallet to drive the chisel shaped end with increased force. This instrument can be used to cut, scrape or shave bone to increase access to the surgical field or simply for reshaping. This osteotome is available seven sizes ranging from 6.0 mm to 32.0 mm and in either a straight or curved profile making it useful in a wide range of surgical procedures including craniotomies.
