CV Elite – Aortic Clamp

Cooley Occlusion Clamp curved jaws, jaws 3.6 cm long Cooley Occlusion Clamp is designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This clamp can be used to clamp vessels to reduce or stop blood flow to prevent the patient from losing an excessive amount of blood. The jaws allow for firm grasp of the vessels but with reduced risk of crushing or bruising to the vessel wall. Additionally, this clamp features curved shanks and jaws giving them a contour more suitable for use in vascular surgical procedures. This instrument is available in two different lengths to accommodate different vessel sizes and positions.  

Cleveland Clinic Renal Clamp Cleveland Clinic Renal Clamp is a specialized piece of equipment designed for optimal use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This clamp is designed for use as a renal clamp to block or reduce blood flow through the renal vessels going to and from the kidney. To accommodate the positioning of these vessels this instrument comes with a significant angle to the jaws making access to the renal vasculature easier. This instrument is available angled either to the left or the right and also comes in either small or large jaws to accommodate a number of different patients sizes.

Exclusion Clamp s shaped, curved jaws 8.5 cm, 7-1/4" (18.5 cm) Aortic Exclusion Clamp are ideally made for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures in which there is a need to exclude a certain portion of the aorta. The unique "S" shaped curvature of the jaws makes it contoured to fit the unique curvature and shapes necessary of atraumatic clamping of vessels. Although this instrument could have a wide application on other vessels it is designed for use in clamping of the aorta. This instrument is comprised of premium German operating-room grade stainless steel.

Fully-Curved for temporary occulation of the iliac artery, 2-3/4" (7.0 cm) fully-curved jaws, 10-3/4" (27.3 cm) Cooley Cardiovascular Clamp is ideally suited for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures that require temporary occultation of the iliac artery. This instrument comes equipped with fully curved jaws making it particularly well suited for use in clamping vessels close to the diameter of the iliac vessels. The scissor grip handles and the ratcheting mechanism for keeping the clamp in place allows for this clamp to stay securely in place through the surgical procedure but is gentle enough to keep from injuring the vessel walls.
