Jacobson Micro Needle Holder is made for use in microvascular cardiothoracic surgical procedures specifically those that require sutures of 5-0 and 6-0 sizes. Instead of solid tungsten carbide inlays as done traditionally these jaws feature tiny flecks of tungsten carbide bonded to the jaws reinforcing their strength without added bulk. The rounded handles and sleek design make this instrument easy to handle and maneuver which is a necessity with such delicate work. This instrument is available in three lengths 7.25″, 8.25″ and 9.125″ and range of styles with either straight or curved profile and with or without locks.
