8-1/2" (22.0 cm) McCulloch Osteotome is an instrument very similar to a bone chisel. This osteotome can be used in many different neurosurgical and orthopedic type surgical interventions that require manipulation of bone. It features a slim handle and a further flattened body that ends in a chisel type point that allows for scooping or scraping of the bone for a variety of reasons including increasing access and visualization to the surgical field. Additionally this osteotome is available in either 4.0 mm width or 6.0 mm width making it suitable for a vast array of surgical procedures.

One potential use of this osteotome is to saw through the skull to increase access during surgery such as craniotomy. Additionally this instrument can be used to reshape bony areas. This osteotome is available in either a curved or straight profile in size sizes ranging from 3.0 mm to 16.0 mm making this a highly versatile instrument suitable for a number of surgical procedures.
