Rib Retractors aluminum arms & blades Cooley Rib Retractor is the ideal instrument for use during cardiothoracic procedures when there is an absolute need to keep the surgical field open by spreading the ribs. These retractors are crafted from aluminum and have two arms with a lip that allows it to be inserted between the ribs and and adjustable ratchet which gives precise control of the amount of spread. This retractor is cleanly designed for optimal control when aortic retraction is necessary while allowing the surgical field to remain accessible.
