This miniature aorta clamp is ideally suited for use in neonatal or pediatric patients who have vessels that are too small to be handled by traditional sized instruments. This instrument can be used to clamp the aorta to occlude blood flow and prevent excessive bleeding during surgery. Additionally, this clamp is available with either DeBakey jaws or titanium jaws.

These clamps feature an angled shanks as well as jaws calibrate at 5 mm intervals. Additionally, this instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large to accommodate a variety of patient sizes and a the wide variety of vessels that this clamp can be used on.

The ring handles make this instrument easy to handle and manipulate and the length of the tool allows the handle out of the surgical field. Additionally, the jaws are calibrate at 5.0 mm intervals and this instrument is available with straight shanks and straight, curved or spoon jaws, or angled shanks with straight jaws making it possible to find a suitable instrument for the particular surgical procedure.
