Cleveland Clinic Renal Clamp Cleveland Clinic Renal Clamp is a specialized piece of equipment designed for optimal use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This clamp is designed for use as a renal clamp to block or reduce blood flow through the renal vessels going to and from the kidney. To accommodate the positioning of these vessels this instrument comes with a significant angle to the jaws making access to the renal vasculature easier. This instrument is available angled either to the left or the right and also comes in either small or large jaws to accommodate a number of different patients sizes.

Bailey Aorta Clamp angled shanks Bailey Aorta Clamp are designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This clamp is ideal for use when there is a surgical maneuver that requires exclusion of a specific portion of the vessel. The unique design of this clamp with the slightly angled shanks allows for this clamp to effectively reach and clamp off the aorta when other instruments may not be able to. Additionally, this instrument is available in three different jaw sizes: extra small, small and large making it well suited for a number of different vessel sizes but also in different levels of blood flow restriction.

Calman Carotid Clamp angled shanks, long thin jaw, 25.0 mm, 4-1/4" (11.0 cm) Calman Carotid Clamp is ideally suited for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures specifically in surgeries that require clamping of the carotid vessels. This clamp feature angled shanks to increase the easy of access to the vessels as well as having a long thing jaw that allows it to move between deeper layers of tissue without displacing anything or injuring other organs of vasculature. This clamp is strong enough to provide the occluding force necessary but also is gentle enough to keep the carotid walls intact with minimal injury or bruising.

Cooley Caval Occlusion Forceps 8-1/4" (21.0 cm) Cooley Caval Occlusion Forceps are specially designed vascular clamps for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is designed with ring handles for ease in maneuvering and opening and closing and also a ratcheting mechanism to hold the forceps at a particular tightness. The most unique feature of these forceps is that each jaw features a half circle projection outwards which when the jaw is brought together forms a complete circular opening as well as the fact that the entire instrument is formed in a crescent type shape. This instrument is available with a number of different diameters to the opening in the jaws in 2 fr. Increments from 24 – 40 fr.
