This instrument is designed with two inch curved jaws that allow for stable closure of vessel while maintaining gentle enough pressure on the vessel wall to prevent damage or tearing. Additionally, this clamp features a ratcheting mechanisms to keep the clamp locked in place during surgery.

This clamp is build sturdily but made small enough to clamp the delicate vessels of a newborn child. This instrument is particularly well suited due to its ability to maintain a hold on the vessel without causing tears or rip on the delicate vessel walls of the newborn.
