Exclusion Clamp s shaped, curved jaws 8.5 cm, 7-1/4" (18.5 cm) Aortic Exclusion Clamp are ideally made for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures in which there is a need to exclude a certain portion of the aorta. The unique "S" shaped curvature of the jaws makes it contoured to fit the unique curvature and shapes necessary of atraumatic clamping of vessels. Although this instrument could have a wide application on other vessels it is designed for use in clamping of the aorta. This instrument is comprised of premium German operating-room grade stainless steel.

Cooley Occlusion Clamp curved jaws, jaws 3.6 cm long Cooley Occlusion Clamp is designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This clamp can be used to clamp vessels to reduce or stop blood flow to prevent the patient from losing an excessive amount of blood. The jaws allow for firm grasp of the vessels but with reduced risk of crushing or bruising to the vessel wall. This is often done in cardiothoracic surgical procedures to prevent the patients from losing an excessive amount of blood during surgery. This pattern features longer jaws and a longer overall length for cases where additional reach is necessary, as well as straight jaws and shanks which are designed to provide a firm and stable grip once they have been affixed to the site where the clamping is needed.

Cooley Pediatric Clamp delicate clamp, jaws calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals, 5-1/2" (14.0 cm) Cooley Pediatric Clamp is ideally suited for clamping in cardiothoracic surgical procedures with pediatric patients. This clamp features jaws that are calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals but are still delicate enough for use in pediatric surgeries. This instrument is designed to keep a firm hold on the vessels that are being occluded but delicate enough not to bruise or tear the vessels thus reducing the amount of damage done to the patient. This clamp is available in a number of different styles that include straight or angled shanks and straight, satinsky, angled, or spoon-shaped jaws making this instrument highly versatile and useful in the operating room.
