This clamp can be used to clamp vessels to reduce or stop blood flow to prevent the patient from losing an excessive amount of blood. The jaws allow for firm grasp of the vessels but with reduced risk of crushing or bruising to the vessel wall. Additionally, this clamp features curved shanks and jaws giving them a contour more suitable for use in vascular surgical procedures. This instrument is available in two different lengths to accommodate different vessel sizes and positions.

This instrument is designed to clamp vessels to reduce or completely block blood flow during surgery to allow the procedure to continue in a certain anatomical location where the blood is no longer able to flow through. These clamps feature an angled shanks as well as jaws calibrate at 5 mm intervals. Additionally, this instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large to accommodate a variety of patient sizes and a the wide variety of vessels that this clamp can be used on.

Cooley Auricular Appendage Forceps 1-5/8" x 3/8" (4.1 cm x 1.0 cm) jaws, 10" (25.4 cm) Cooley Auricular Appendage Forceps are specially designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. These forceps have a wide application but are particularly well suited for use in manipulating auricular appendages. Each auricle leads into its respective atrium and thus this instrument is of use in surgical procedures that require access to the atria. The scissor handle grip allows for ease in grasping and manipulating this tool.
