This clamp can be used to in temporary occlusion of the aorta to resect fusiform aneurysms as well as provide additional support and stability in aortic grafting procedures. The slightly curved jaws gives this clamp the ability to contour to and seamlessly move through the surgical field causing the least amount of trauma to the aorta itself and surrounding tissue.

This clamp is ideal for use when there is a surgical maneuver that requires exclusion of a specific portion of the vessel. This miniature aorta clamp is ideally suited for use in neonatal or pediatric patients who have vessels that are too small to be handled by traditional sized instruments. This instrument can be used to clamp the aorta to occlude blood flow and prevent excessive bleeding during surgery. Additionally, this clamp is available with either DeBakey jaws or titanium jaws.
