The probe tip is a blunt end to avoid damaging tissue. The malleable sterling silver handle allows for the probe to navigate more easily in the anal cavity.

Rectal Polypus Snare bayonet shape, working length 11-3/4" (30.0 cm) Norwood Rectal Polypus Snare is designed for removal of abnormal growths located high in the rectal ampulla or lower pelvic colon. The snare features a bayonet shape with a strong handle designed to permit maximal viewing of the proctoscopic field. A loop of wire is soldered to the distal end of the snare to be placed around the polyp. The wire can be adjusted to the desired size to accommodate a wide range of cases.

The hooks can be used for removal of O-rings from hemorrhoid ligation procedure. The probes are available in various size hooks to accommodate a wide range of cases.
