Adson Bipolar Forceps 1.0 mm tip, smooth jaw, 4-3/4" (12.0 cm) Adson Bipolar Forceps are designed to minimize heat and current while coagulating. For use during bipolar electrosurgical procedures, these forceps are designed with a 1.0 mm tip and a smooth jaw. Available in both insulated and insulated with irrigation. Just as with their standard counterparts, these forceps are the most common bipolar forcep model. Bipolar forceps are designed to control temperatures, minimize heat and current spread and reduce tissue sticking or charring while coagulating during bipolar electrosurgical procedures. They are available in a variety of styles that provide bipolar coagulating capabilities for a wide range of procedures: irrigating or non-irrigating (for flushing surgical site to improve visualization), with or without insulation (to eliminate conduction to surrounding tissues when performing deep procedures), straight or bayonet-shaped (to enhance visibility by keeping the surgeon's hand from the line of sight). Allis-Baby Tissue Forceps 4x5 teeth Allis-Baby Tissue Forceps contain 4x5 teeth on the tips of the jaws. These jaws are offered in a delicate or extra-delicate style depending on the type of tissue, bowel, or skin that is being held. The 5" or 5 ½" lengths with ring handles are incorporated for added control and maneuverability.

Delicate pattern, 1x2 teeth, 7-1/8" (18.0 cm) Adson Artery Forceps are 7 1/8" and are developed with 1x2 teeth in a delicate pattern with either curved or straight jaws to suit different needs. Primarily applied during operations in which arteries need to be grasped or compressed, the teeth on the tips of the jaws interlock to confirm that a tight grip is held.

Jaws w/ atraumatic parallel serrations Allis Tissue Forceps contain jaws with atraumatic parallel serrations. These types of serrations are designed to eliminate damage caused to the tissue when trying to grasp or hold it during surgery. The adjustable ratchet ring-handle provides the forceps to be held in a locked position. This instrument is also presented with narrow or standard jaws with an option of 6" or 8" length.
